Anyone who knows me will agree that if I was to be 100% honest with myself, I’d probably be the first to succumb zombification in an apocalypse. But at least I’ll look fabulous doing it. ;D

i felt a little rockabilly retro this morning and decided to sketchy sketch my next project. enjoy my awful handwriting. didn’t use an eraser either. thug life.

so im taking a drawing II class this semester. our first assignment is to draw a still life of objects that hold personal meanings to us while also representing human mortality. this is one of my finished preliminary sketches and i quite like it. it was done on an 18” x 24” sketchpad with china marker. if you’re interested, the objects listed are as follows:
1. a stuffed animal bunny my mother gave me when i was 10. it was when i was in the hospital recovering from major surgery.
2. a sketch book because why not ? i like to draw.
3. a wooden figurine model thing.
4. the blanket my mother brought me home from the hospital for the first time in
5. the first and seventh harry potter book. it was the first book series i ever obsessed over. i even made sure my mother got the hardcover versions the minute they were in stores.
6. my wacom tablet pen.
7. my headphones and current mp3 player. music is my life support.
8. an xbox controller. i’ve always loved playing games. and xbox is the most recent console i’ve gotten.
spent a surprising 4 hours on this. maybe because i kept stopping to daydream lol
anyway, this is the new timeline cover picture i have for facebook. in case anyone was ever curious, those two are my OC’s from long ago. Black Jack was “born” in 2005 on Christmas eve. and iNK was “born” some time in 2007. It’s been a while since i had drawn them. glad I still remember what they looked like ~
they’re also unbelievably tall and constantly give me grief about it, as you can see xD and i couldn’t find a cool font to use. so i kinda just made one up lol
